Levels are a special aspect of moviestarplanet. Each level comes with a new title and perks. Players can gain levels by having a certain amount of fame.
How to Gain Levels
Levels are gained by earning a certain amount of fame. Players can gain fame by doing simple things such as buying items, playing games, or by doing special things such as making movies and artbooks.
The amount of fame needed to gain a level varies dependent on the level. Higher levels require more fame per level while lower levels require less fame per level.
Level Perks
Each level comes with perks, below is more information about those perks.
Normal Perks
These perks come with every level gained.
- A random gift
- The ability to add more friends*
*It's currently unknown if this maxes out at a certain level.
Special Perks
Level 6
- Unlocks the Fame Magazine
- Unlocks the ability to
- Unlocks the Catwalk
- Unlocks the Fame Booster
- Unlocks the ability to post on forums (excludes VIP members)
Level 8
- Unlocks the Mall Chat room.

Trivia
- Level 1 requires 3 fame exactly.
- Before an update in January 2014 there were only 25 levels.
- The updated level system was tested on the IE server before moving to other servers.
